Why our Baseboards are the Right Solution for Your Home or Business
You have plenty of options when it comes to purchasing your baseboards, but not all suppliers take the same care as we do when it comes to quality, practicality, and design. We hand-select each design and manufacturer based on how you’ll be using the baseboards.
Hallways require durability as there is lots of traffic, bathrooms and kitchens have a lot of humidity and need baseboards that resist moisture. Commercial spaces require easy maintenance and durability because of more regular cleanings, while bedrooms and living rooms need baseboards that match the style of the room. Our baseboards are designed to meet all of those needs as they are:
- Made from high-density polyurethane, making them much lighter than wood, plaster or MDF.
- Moisture resistant and stand up to mold, rot, and cracks.
- Easy to install, all you need is measure, cut, glue, and nail them to the wall. No need for specialty tools.
- Easy to clean as they don’t absorb moisture or swell, all you need is a damp cloth.
- Scuff resistant and less prone to dents and chips than wooden baseboard trim.
- Factory-primed making them easy to paint.
- Available in different heights and designs to match any room’s aesthetic.
We take the guesswork out of quality and durability to make sure you always get a baseboard that works for your projects. You only need to select the style that matches your space.

Matching Baseboard Size to Wall Height
Here is how to match the size of the baseboard to the height of your wall and ceiling:
- For 8-foot ceilings, baseboards should be 3 to 5 inches high
- For 9-foot ceilings, baseboards should be 4 to 6 inches high
- For 10-foot ceilings and higher, baseboards should be 5 to 7 inches high
Use the filter above to sort the molding by size and find the perfect style to match your space.
Pro-tip: Taller baseboards bring eyes upwards as they become part of the wall bringing attention to the crown molding and making the room feel taller.
Matching Baseboard Design to Your Style
After the height of the baseboards, matching the finish to your room aesthetic comes next. Here’s some of our team’s favorite styles of baseboards based on our clients’ projects, and what we recommend.
For modern, contemporary, minimalist or Scandinavian interiors, a simple and minimal design like the Barcelona Baseboard, the Aberdeen Baseboard or the Holmdel Baseboard blend in seamlessly, they are not overly ornate, and have long smooth surfaces and lines keeping the aesthetic intact.
For traditional, colonial, Victorian or farmhouse interiors, more decorative and ornamental designs like the Oslo Rope Baseboard, the Sussex Baseboard or the Ashford Baseboard work as they will match the intricate carvings in cabinetry and furniture. These styles easily pair with ornate crown moldings and ceiling medallions to complete the feel of the room with a cohesive design.
Baseboard Ideas For Your Space
Looking for some inspiration for your home or a client project? Here are a couple examples of our baseboards in a kitchen and bedroom to help you pick the right one for your project.
The Aberdeen baseboard was used in this kitchen and around the kitchen island, creating a subtle transition between the different elements in the room. They are paired with crown molding, casing trims and wainscoting panels, creating a classic and unified look. Because these baseboards are moisture-resistant and durable, they help protect the bottom of the wall from scuffs and splashes. The result is a beautiful modern traditional style kitchen.
The Ashford baseboard is being used as both a baseboard, and as a door and window trim. It is finished in a pastel mint green color to keep the color palette intact and a slightly darker shade from the wall to add contrast. The beading details on the baseboards pair well with the beading on the four-poster bed, and the pastel color palette carried throughout the light pink curtains, the artwork and the bedding. This creates a very stylish and calming bedroom atmosphere.
