Corrugated Metal Dakota Tin: Versatile, Durable, and Eco-Friendly

You will love the versatile, durable, and eco-friendly corrugated metal Dakota tin wainscoting panels. They’re the perfect option for a wide range of home improvement projects or any other wainscoting project, both indoors and out. With a high-end style and impressive finish, it’s no wonder so many people are turning to tin wainscoting panels to give their homes and businesses an impressive and unique look. Available in three unique styles - Rusted, Antique, and Galvalume, each sheet is 3ft tall and 2ft wide and made from real metal.

Dakota tin is found in an ever-increasing number of homes and business spaces; its many uses allow for an endless number of creative possibilities. Corrugated metal Dakota tin does a wonderful job of complimenting any room’s color scheme no matter where you choose to put it.

  • Kitchen or bathroom cabinet doors
  • Custom wet bars
  • Table backs
  • Planters
  • Ceilings, roofs
  • Wall paneling
  • Doghouses and sheds
  • Furniture

Each 26in x 36in panel of corrugated metal Dakota tin comes in three distinctive styles:

  • Galvalume: New galvanized metal, mild light silver-gray, semi-sheen with NO RUST color variation.
  • Antiqued: Weathered antiqued metal with a dark gray color and smooth flat texture with NO RUST color variation.
  • Rusted: Pre-rusted and fashioned with a high-end all-natural elevated rust remedy to preserve and further enhance the stunning all-natural color treatment. The spray-applied color treatment makes sure the rust is spread across the surface, resulting in a flawless, even coating. The graceful copper rust color accented with a touch of perfectly blended variations of bluish-gray fully captures the classic antique style. We start the rusting process, but it can progress further and age with exposure. Our recommendation is to seal this style with a clear coat as the rust finish wears with time and exposure to moisture.

Recommended tools for proper installation:

  • Screw gun
  • Tape measure
  • Level
  • Chalk line
  • Drill

Optional tools recommended when cutting the product:

  • Tin snips or nibbler tools may be needed to cut panels into smaller pieces.
  • Circular saw with a ferrous metal blade if you need accurate cuts for larger pieces.

Important safety instructions:

  • Metal edges can be very sharp. We strongly encourage the use of cut-resistant gloves.
  • To prevent injuries, cover the top edges with J-track or other border materials.
  • Wear gloves and ear and eye protection when using saws to cut metal.
  • Make circular saw cuts from the backside of the panel to avoid damaging the finish.

Installation:

  • Install and secure the product using roofing screws placed every 12 to 16 inches or as needed.

Optional Accessories:

  • Use trim with matching gauge size and finish style to further accessorize.
