Just follow these 4 simple
steps to install our 24" x 24" Overlapping Edge Decorative Ceiling System. It is really quick and easy.
1. Prepare the surface: Wipe off the ceiling / surface and make it smooth and even. Remove loose
plaster, paint, wall paper etc.
2. Draw
an angle: draw straight lines in the corner (in width
and length part) and make a 90 degree angle, for the starting point of pasting.
3. Apply the adhesive: Apply any good quality Contact Cement, rubber or urethane base adhesive only on the edges and raised crossed section
of the sheet, and let dry until the solvent of adhesive evaporates. We recommend that all customers always test the application and allow it to rest at least 24 hours to evaluate the process and results to make an informed decision as whether the application is right for your particular scenerio. We also recommend a clean dry surface and to use a Premium quality,
brush grade, neoprene-based contact cement that meets the stringent requirements of the professional user. High strength
and initial grab make it ideal for most projects. Fast-drying formula dries in 15-20 minutes and offers high heat and water
resistance when dry. We suggest Wellwood by Dap Inc. The links below will direct you to our suggested products, including Liquid Nail Contact Cement. .

4. Place & Press: Place
the sheet into the required position (first sheet at the 90 degree point) and press firmly but gently. Overlap
the ends of the previous sheet, again using firm/gentle
pressure.

Installation Instructions For Overlapping
Edges - The PVC Ceiling Tiles, can
be installed on any hard and plain surface
- The Tiles can be cut with scissors for required fitting size.
- To install the tiles on the T-bar system or suspending grids, first create a false ceiling structure on the T-bar
system using Plywood, MDF, Block board etc., then simply paste the tiles on the false ceiling.
- The Decorative Ceiling Tiles are washable and colorable.
Follow these 4 simple steps
to install or paste the Decorative Ceiling Tiles. It's really quick and easy.
1. Prepare the
surface: Wipe off the ceiling or surface until it is smooth and even. Remove loose plaster, paint, wall paper etc.
2. Find the center of each wall of the room, measure each wall, divide the number by two,
and make a mark. Connect opposite centers of the walls by a chalk line. This will show you your starting point. Paste first corner of the tile
on the very center of the room where the chalk lines meet. 3. Apply the adhesive: Apply any quality rubber-based adhesive
only on the edges and raised crossed sections of the faux tin sheet. Let dry until the solvent of the adhesive evaporates.
Check drying time on container of adhesive, as it will usually specify between 10-20 minutes. Apply contact cement
to both surfaces. Approximately 1kg of adhesive will be required to cover 25 tiles or 100 square feet.
4. Place
& Press: Place the sheet in the required position (first sheet at the 90 degree corner) and press firmly but gently. Overlap the edges of the previous sheet and press
firmly with fingertips.

Frequently Asked Questions Our 24" x 24" PVC Ceiling Tiles are available for three different Installation
Applications.
1) Without PU (Polyurethane) Backing in 24x24 size, applied with glue to an existing Ceiling Tile in a Grid System to create a Decorative Ceiling.
2) Without
PU (Polyurethane) Backing with overlapping edges to be applied with glue to a flat smooth surface such as drywall before
painting. This product cannot be applied over popcorn
or over surfaces that are porous or contain cavities.
3) With PU Backing for installation in a grid system when dealing with new
construction and removing or replacing it is your objective. We carry PU Backing in two different styles. The first is thinner
- about 6MM - and is used for flat designs with some relief. The other is thicker and features an additional
PVC sheet used as a backing for the designs with more relief.
1. How long
is the life of the PVC products?
The PVC products are extremely durable and
will last for many, many years.
2. How do
I maintain the PVC products?
Wash all products
with water and mild soap. You may also use a vacuum cleaner, blower, etc. It's very easy to preserve the beauty
of our products!
3. How long will
the color last?
PVC products are coated with specialty coatings and are scratch and UV (ultra violet) resistant.
The colors will remain beautiful for a very long time.
4. Can these products be painted after installation and after some time? If so, how?
YES, they
can be painted after installation. Using any Plastic Paint or Spray, recolor with your favorite shade. Please note,
however, that for better results the new shade should be darker than the existing shade.

6. How do I cut
the PVC products?
All the PVC products can be cut easily with scissors, with the
exception of Cornices & Borders, which should be cut with a very small-toothed hack saw.
7. Can I combine two products / designs
while installing?
YES. You can use your imagination to
create endless designs. Our products are very consumer-friendly. You can combine any design of any of our PVC
products for a particular area of decoration. For example, you can combine Door Skins and Cornice & Borders, Decorative
Ceiling System and Cornice & Borders, Decorative Ceiling System and Door Skins, etc.
8. Which and
how much adhesive should be used to Paste / Install PVC products?
Any
quality Rubber Adhesive will work when pasting our PVC products to hard and plain surface. The approximate quantity
of paste needed for the products are as follows: - Decorative Ceiling

Apply a sufficient amount of glue to allow uniform adhesion of all areas.
9. Are the PVC products
fireproof?
The PVC products are non-flammable. However, they can be damaged by fire just as
other materials such as cloth, plastics, wood, or metal.
10. Are the PVC products environmentally
friendly and recycleable?
YES. All the PVC products are environmentally friendly and can be recycled.
11. Is PVC harmful in any way?
NO. We use only high quality virgin PVC sheets
that are not harmful in any aspect whatsoever.
12. What conditions or elements will adversely
affect the PVC products? As the products are made from high quality
PVC, most environmental conditions will not affect them. Winter cold, summer heat, rain, etc...there are no weather
conditions that will affect the quality of our PVC products.
13. What about breakage and strength
of PVC products?
The products are designed to resist blows and won't break easily.
14. Can the company make Custom Designs, Colors, Sizes etc.?
YES. Our company utilizes
all facilities and departments needed to create Custom Designs, Colors, Sizes, Effects, etc.
15. How
will the company deliver the products?
We can deliver any quantity ordered through Post, Courier,
Road cargo, Air cargo, Sea cargo, etc. Whichever delivery system you and we deem is most cost and time-effective.
16. Is it necessary to fill the embossed part of Door Skins? What should be filled? How?
We
recommend filling the embossed part of Plain (only PVC, not plywood or flush door) Door Skins with Plaster of Paris before
installation. This will increase the strength and life of the Door Skins and enable them to resist blows. They
can be filled with a simple cone filled with wet Plaster of Paris. After filling, allow to dry. |
