    When we purchased this 1926 Spanish Bungalow, the first project was to rehab the kitchen. We opened up a wall, ripped out the cabinets and installed a new countertop. The backsplash remained bare. We had a myriad of excuses - didn’t know what we wanted, the project was too small to hire out, it would be expensive. A tin backsplash would look perfect for this period of architecture but felt that it would rust. We lived with blighted, stained, patched drywall for nearly 10 years.

    While searching to decorate the rest of the house, we discovered Decorative Ceiling Tile offered tin designed specifically for a backsplash. Shopping around, DCT offered the best selection and pricing. We ordered the Princess Victoria pattern in mahogany coated aluminum. The project, though small, was a challenging one due to the five cut outs and window, each which required precise measuring. Utilizing tools around the house, installation took a few hours. The transformation is amazing – at minimal expense and effort. We are looking forward to future projects with DCT.
