I purchased these some decorative ceiling tiles made of Styrofoam from http://www.decorativeceilingtiles.net for this project after seeing videos similar to my own. I covered a pretty nasty popcorn ceiling in a hallway that had numerous coats of paint installing them in about 5 hours and here are the results.

Beautiful and a money saver

Came across this site in a gogle search. Am thrilled that I did. We were apprehensive about tearing the ceiling down to fix the look since half was plaster and half was drywall. These foam tiles covered beautifully and were quick and easy to install. Adds to our older home, bringing more of an authentic feel to it too!

I was originally apprehensive about a "foam" ceiling. But the price was a huge incentive...and boy am I glad I did! My new kitchen/dining room ceiling is absolutely beautiful. Installation went smoothly and once the semi-gloss paint went up, I was a true fan.
