I purchased these some decorative ceiling tiles made of Styrofoam from http://www.decorativeceilingtiles.net for this project after seeing videos similar to my own. I covered a pretty nasty popcorn ceiling in a hallway that had numerous coats of paint installing them in about 5 hours and here are the results.

Dining Room Ceiling

I have applied these tiles to our dining room ceiling and it really look beautiful...Several people have seen the work and really love the look as well...People were very shocked to find out they are styrofoam...Very easy to install and really looks professional as well..
They are A-M-A-I-Z-I-N-G !!!!!!!!!!!!

These are our second set, and we plan to get MORE.The entrance to our home looks very classy and elegant and only took a few hours.People has already asked where did we got them. Now we are doing the master bathroom. We L-O-V-E our new ceilings.

These tiles are so easy to install and use. The ceiling looks amazing, it was the perfect touch to our 107 year old house without breaking the bank. People are shocked when we tell them they are styrofoam. We used an electric sprayer to paint them white, hardest part was getting the sprayer to work properly! Other than that we love our ceiling and the wonderful customer service experience!

I bought these tiles for portrait studio backdrop. I am so excited to get them painted and installed on hardibacker. These are a great product and lighter than other options for backdrops.
