Decorative Ceiling Tiles as Photography Backdrops!
One of the most popular non-ceiling uses of our decorative tiles is as a backdrop for professional photographers. These professionals have an eye for quality when they see it, and they see it in our tiles. Our tiles are inexpensive, lightweight, easy to install, and, most of all, beautiful. They want a backdrop that is not only quick and easy to make but can also set a mood or create an atmosphere. From classic and simple to ornate and intricate, our 3D designs add interest and can be used to create any theme. Whether the subject is a baby or a bride, a grad or a dad, newlyweds or a couple celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary, there's a design to fit the occasion.
Some of these professional photographers have been kind enough to share photos and videos about how they created their stunning photography backdrops. All of the images on this page were created by the photographers themselves. They used our styrofoam ceiling tiles, which they painted with water-based paints, but you can also make a backdrop with our faux-tin ceiling tiles, real metal ceiling tiles, and faux-leather ceiling tiles. We have also created our own instructional videos. These videos show a few examples of backdrops for photography created with, along with instructions for how to make the backdrops.
There are many different options when it comes to backdrops for photography. What you might not know is that you can create your backdrops very inexpensively. Depending on the material and size of the tile you use, you can create a small 60” x 80” backdrop for as little as $75, including shipping and accessories. Like the idea but do not want to paint your backdrops? We have a solution for that, too!
