Decorate Your Summer Retreat with Gwen’s Cabin

Just because you own a mountain cabin doesn’t mean it has to look as if it belongs to Grizzly Adams. Our customer, Gwen, helped us design the perfect decorative tin backsplash for her beautiful cabin in the woods, and she has generously agreed to allow us to share this great design with you and the rest of our customers.
Not-So-Little Cabin in the Woods
This whimsical design with its great pine tree, caribou, and bear is great for any cabin, from a one-room hideaway in Fairbanks to a mountain-top chalet on Mammoth Mountain to a grand mansion in Telluride.
Best of all, this design will fit in any room in your cabin, from the living room to the kitchen to the bedroom and even the bathroom.
The polished brass and antique brass finishes equally reflect the bright sunlight on a sunny day as well as the warm glow of a roaring fire on a rainy afternoon or cool, crisp evening, while the clear-coated aluminum finish adds sparkle to even the darkest corner.
This style looks equally beautiful in kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, entryways—it’s so versatile that it works well all over the house! The backsplash is great for use behind a woodstove in the kitchen, surrounding a fireplace in the living room, or protecting the walls behind the bathroom sink.
Not Just for Mountaintops
You don’t own a cabin? That shouldn’t stop you from using this wonderful design. It’s perfect for adding that north-woods atmosphere to your urban den, office, or “man-cave”, too. Add a leather or faux-leather sofa and armchair, a plaid woolen blanket, and some great solid-color throw pillows, and you’ll be ready to relax in rustic style right in the comfort of your city-slicker home.
Whether your home is an apartment in Greenwich Village, a stunning mansion on top of a snow-capped mountain, a one-room hideaway deep in the woods, or a cozy cabin by the side of a sparkling lake, Gwen’s Cabin backsplash is sure to fit in with the décor in your kitchen, behind a huge rustic fireplace, or even in your cozy and charming bedroom.
