The price 3.99 is for 1 Gloria's Styrofoam Ceiling Tile  (white)which is very popular among Photographers. (below are images with backdrops that our clients made using this tile)  You can not do much with one tile but you can make a nice backdrop when you put few together.  There is a table of sizes below.

          Each tile is 20x20 (19 5/8 x 19 5/8) and weights only 3 oz.
